In co-operation with digital spirit, Siemens VDO has created a simulator for the DTCO 1381 digital tachograph. The simulator displays the Siemens VDO DTCO 1381's functionality in a very simple manner using the real operating elements of the vehicle unit. You can use various tachograph cards to simulate a ride, thus quickly and easily acquainting yourself with the features of the digital tachograph. It covers all the functions and displays of the "real" tachograph in full for the various card modes:

As a result, the simulator is predestined for all target groups - drivers, fleet management employees, regulatory authorities - and for driving schools for hands-on learning of how to use the DTCO 1381. Furthermore, the simulator provides an inexpensive option for educational institutes for training the use of the digital tachograph within the framework of an on-site training course.
The simulator is available in 12 languages and is supplied together with the operating instructions for the DTCO 1381.
